It's one of those days....

where I keep doubting myself, doubting if I am indeed a good wife, a good mother, a good daughter. Days when you are so tired that you are hardly keeping your mind together and the spell checker corrects half your words. Days when you can not drink enough coffee to actually stay alert and the overdose of caffeine makes you slightly nauseous. Days when you wonder if God made a mistake to entrust your children to you. Days where you feel yo have failed your wonderful husband.

I just have to lift up my chin, get on with the day and believe that God does not make mistakes, God will help me through this. This too shall pass. Now if we can only get this sleep thing sorted out...

  1. Here let me help - You are a wonderful mom, wife & daughter. You are very caring & sweet! As a mom of twins & a older child (all under the age of 5) you definitely have a lot on your plate but remember "God never gives you more than you can handle!" Keep your head up!

  2. I'm sorry you're having one of those days. Hopefully at some point one your adorable children (or one of the cute puppies) will do something funny to remind you that you it's all worth it in the end and you WILL get through this. Have a wonderful day.

  5. Oh Cat...we've all had those days and I know the lack of sleep does not help the mood, confidence, or feelings. Hopefully you will get some answers and find the time to take care of yourself again. Too bad after your refreshing weekend last week, life is getting you down again.
    Hang in there...*hugs*

  10. I hope your day gets better. I have been thinking about this mummy doubt thing lately. I think perhaps it makes us better mummies. We doubt ourselves so we strive to be better, we question God's wisdom and then we rise to the challange. God has handpicked each family, those that came together the "old fashioned" way or through adoption or blended families... they are a family because God wanted them to be. I often rely on the fact that God said he wouldn't give me more than I can handle with His help... that includes my kids and husband :)
