A day in the country.

3 Sundays ago Hunter and I had our first time out alone in 2 months. We went to attend the birthday party of one of his filed guiding friends on a farm near Muldersdrift. It was such a fantastic afternoon - good, honest country folk and good honest country food. It was like a balm to the soul - being in the beautiful surroundings, meeting (for me) new and lovely people and spending time with my love. But you know I almost always "talk" better in pictures.

The Clydesdale stallion is 17 hands. A big boy.
One of the mares - she is a beauty.

Hunter fell in love with this girl.



On our way home we drove past this scene.
The end of a perfect afternoon.

    Jou prentjies is baie mooi ... and the little eendjie poem is just adorable.  Glad you had a fab time and got to enjoy your honey.  The highveld is so amazing in winter ... when we can look past the dry and dust.
