and then it's good to have a breather in one of our green city lungs. On Sunday afternoon we went for a walk around the dam (and a swim for the puppies) - some walked with joy, others lagged behind, but a break out of the ordinary to nature, how contained, is always good.
Oh look! I can comment!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it interesting. We have a huge dam on our farm - and we rarely go there. Sat was the first time in forever. Need to appreciate the country living thing more me thinks!
Love the last pic of A - stunning xx
The "green" places in PE for example Settlers Park has a huge sign that says "walk in groups...dangerous on your own":-(
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed to have a "safe" park close to you...lovely photos.
@526350ebf642a2873ae5bbb618e71f90 We actually have tow spaces close to us that the residents have "taken back" - fenced and controlled with guards.
ReplyDeleteOh lovely. You must let me know where this is that you can take your doggie with you? I used to take my pooch down to walk at the Moreleta Nature reserve but someone let their dog run off leash and one of the animals was harmed so now dogs aren't allowed anymore.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! and it is lovely to get out into the green:-)
ReplyDeleteThose pictures just make me want to run outside! I grew up "in the country". My parents had about seven acres, and we had no neighbors close by. I spent my summer days and fall and spring afternoons running through the woods...good stuff. :) While I love living in the suburbs as a family, I hope my girlies will have some "in the country" experiences, too.
ReplyDeleteI am really in need of a break from the city... and luckily , we are off to the Berg tomorrow! :) I cannot wait x
ReplyDeleteStunning stunning photos!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a cool place for a fun outing! Your kids are always so adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteFinally Decked Out For Fall
A good walk in the park is always good for the soul!
ReplyDeleteLove the kids summer hats :)
@e608fff5170bf17b533003066b87bf2b Enjoy! I know where you are going and really hope it will be great
ReplyDelete@fff3b21ae2acf2344b6c2bd5d2e54f78 We are quite pedantic hat wearers - they are forced into the habit from very young.
ReplyDeletePlease can you let me know too - I am desperately looking for some 'dog friendly' places to go to.
ReplyDeleteI agree - The city life also gets to us sometimes and then we do things like this as well.
ReplyDeleteGlad you all had a great time :)
That's just gorgeous - we all need some green in our lives from time to time.
