Most moms will tell you that even a day without hubby at home and alone with the kids gets them on edge. With me it certainly is the case, or shall we say was. My regular readers know that during some periods of the year Hunter is away for some weekends, doing something he really loves and that I fully support. Those weekends have always been more challenging than others. Although they have progressively become less stressful.
But I have to say, when he opened that door yesterday afternoon and the kids ran to embrace him, my heart made an extra leap. Great to have him home.
A good weekend makes my Momday? What makes yours?
Playing along with Cheryl.

ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful welcome home! Glad you had a good time even though hubby was not around. I think it sometimes does us good to have "separation" time - makes us appreciate each other more! :) What a lovely photograph of your children!
