Styling your hair into tiny little plats is African tradition. You will see little girls with hair in plats, old ladies with hair in plats and also hair extension in little plats.

    Very cute!! We have a heard of "my little ponies", too..but ours are missing a lot of hair because a certain little 3yo keeps brushing them too hard. ;p

    How funny! We have friends from Papa new Guinea and they also do these little plaits (usually with extensions).
