Bootcamp is cool.

It's been two weekends ago, but I have never shown you more than one picture of the Bootcamp party. This is such an excellent idea for boys of about 5 years and older. And the "Captains" at the camp was brilliant, even including the 2 year olds.

The party table etc was set up in an army tent - very hot, but cool with the theme.
The first formal activity was to apply war paint mud - only one of mine was willing. (I mean no girl would allow that!)

The little campers then had to do some leopard crawling up an embankment.
This party is not for girls, she said - but later on she was queen of the obstacle course.
Then they did push-ups.
And sit-ups.
Star jumps.

Tug of war.

They took a break from all the tough stuff to have snacks in the canteen.

The two grannies of the birthday boy.

The highlight of the day, the obstacle course followed.

You can see why this place is so popular - taking into account the moms mostly book parties ;) - just check out the two hunks "captains"
And the little girl that thought the party was not for girls crossed the obstacle without falling into the mud (one of very few) and enjoyed it all!

Driving back she mentioned that it was such a cool party.
