On Friday morning we woke up to a cloudy but not too cold day and set off for a walk to Houtbaai beach an harbor - just an easy walk from my BIL and SIL's home. The princess loved the hustle and bustle of the harbor. A lot of world cup tourists were milling around and some buildings were well decorated.
By midday it was icy cold and we headed home after picking up a few shells. The afternoon was spent by some of us napping, the rest having a visit from a friend of my SIL and the two cousins playing up a storm.
Oh i love Hout Bay...we always pop into Mariners Wharf for fish and chips...one of my fav things to do!

ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures. I didn't know what some of the things were and would love to. Such as those rope like boxes? I have several friends from SA and some are from Cape Town. My high school boyfriend (a million years ago) and his family are from Johannesburg but holiday at Betty's Bay in Cape Town at Christmas. It looks like you are having a relaxing holiday. I'll just have to live vicariously through you!
