Playing along on a Wednesday (as per usual) with Cheryl at Twinfatuation and Angie at 7 Clown Circus:
Today, exactly 2 years ago this was me:
36 weeks pregnant with twins. At this stage I was extremely uncomfortable and was lying down for most of the day. We went grocery shopping that morning - me and my mom and MIL. I sat at the coffee shop and waited for them to finish my list (which they divided into two - we shopped for the next two months!) and then I just got up to pay. Even this tired me out completely. My skin was showing little stretch marks that was tender to the touch - as if the skin was tearing away.
I can not believe that my babies (yes, may I please say it for the last time) will be two years old in a week's time! I am so sad and nostalgic, but also relieved at the same time (now only a mom of multiples will understand this sentence)
And if I get my act together for next week, the story of the twins (our family part 5) to follow.
I never want to stop calling Grhaam my baby either. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteWow..what a big beautiful tummy.
ReplyDeleteYou looked so happy!!
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine having twins! Happy (early) Birthday to them.
ReplyDeleteOh Cat!! You were so Beautiful...not that you aren't beautiful now. But I love prego's, they have a glow like no one else. I loved being pregnant...
ReplyDeleteThe boys are almost two!!! WOW!
Oh, how I love seeing pregnancy pictures! There is always a happy glow on the mom-to-be face! You look great & happy!!!
ReplyDeleteCat, Tailgating goes hand-in-hand with football. Fans tailgate the day of the game. They call it tailgate because some people (well, not really) use the tailgate of a truck. But most, set up tents, grills, tvs, radios, huge amounts of food, and drinks. Fans interact with each other and enjoy each other company. The band, cheerleaders, etc. come out to perform for the tailgaters.
I promise to take pictures next Sat. We are tailgating again and it is truly a great experience. I highly recommend it. But I will take pictures to show you. Thousands of tents everywhere you can see. Do you guys have something like tailgating in Africa?
You know you weren't too ginormous for twins! Lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteLove twin tummies! :)
ReplyDeleteaww! I love tummy pictures. My little one turns 2 soon (November) and I call her my baby, too.
ReplyDeleteAwesome memory! I remember being tired just from walking from the couch to my bed, haha!
ReplyDeleteWow, time certainly does fly.

ReplyDeleteThey grow up way to fast. That is the hardest time of pregnancy and then to be expecting twins.
