I rubbed shoulders with some celebs last night

I attended the opening of Pretoria's GAP store last night in Brooklyn Mall- only the 3rd in the country. Fashionistas were already asking to be let in the morning, but at 4:30 last night the doors opened to feature Christina Storm, Loui Fish and several others, being filmed by Fashion TV no less. The store is absolutely beautiful and the clothes, well, just stunning. I love that the girl range goes from 4 to 15 in the same beautiful florals etc. The GAP baby stuff is just breathtaking and I am incredibly happy that I have no babies to buy for because it will be so hard to resist.

As we left the store we were met by waiters with wonderful trays of awesome sweetness - macaroons, baby red velvet cupcakes, mini brownies and fruit.
Ah, and then there was the goody bag and my very own GAP T shirt, fragrance samples and a 20% off voucher until end August so I guess I will have to go shopping some time.

  3. I love the GAP! Some of my very favorite tshirts and sweaters are from there, and that's where I always buy my jeans. I love stuff from there for the girls, too. I only buy that on sale, though. ;)

Between the GAP, Old Navy (their lower tier chain), and Target, that's where I get most of my clothes - at least since I'm home with the girls.

How cool that you got to "hob nob" at the opening of the store! And those goodies look divine!

  4. 3 Stores! How do you survive?? LOL!
Like Mandy I shop GAP, ON, and Target. Occasionally throwing in Banana Republic (their high end store) for special occasions. I'm lucky to have a GAP outlet not far from the house where I spend waaaay too much money!

    1. Although the fruit looked lovely I just had to have a blue macaroon. You notice white blue and red for the American flag

  7. We have a GAP store in our local mall but the truth is that I am PETRIFIED of going in. Merely because I may have a spending 'accident' in there!! ;-)

  8. Thank goodness I stay FAR from Tygervalley. Because I think that I would have a spending accident there too! That platter looks divine. So pretty!
