Our life on Instagram - 3rd week in August 2012

We had a lovely, but very busy weekend - I feel rather exhausted today, but alas, onwards and upwards with a very busy week. L:ooking back on last week:

Day 33/365 It felt like Spring, it smelled like Spring.

Day 34/365 Watering the flowers - something the kids love to do, with a little too small bike in the background.

Day 35/365 Beautiful post sunrise colours.

Day 36/365 Bought my books for Bookclub in September and this beautiful Hope necklace - my word for the year - had to have it when I saw it.

Day 37/365 Drive- in night! First night that it was warm enough for us to vernture there. We all loved Ice Age 4!

  5. You really must explain to me the "magic" of instagram. I just don't get it. Did we not buy fancy cameras to take nice clear pics? :) :)

But I do so love your gallery wall - there is nothing more rewarding than getting those pics up! Speaking of which, I need to fix those skew frames outside the babies' bedroom.

BTW, I'm thinking about getting an iphone. am I mad?

    1. he magic of Instagram is the instant- ness! In other words, take picture anywhere with your phone or ipad, edit it on Instagram, share it in one step on Instagram, twitter, Facebook, whatever. And the quality is relatively good depending on the light, etc. Editing etc. It's like twitter with pictures. Or Facebook without stupid status updates and pretty kittens posters etc. I love it.

Get an iphone! It makes a perfect combinatiopn with your ipad. Everything clouds that you want to - for instance, I now do not even use a work diary any more - the iphone, ipad and my Outlook co ordinates all meetings automatically. You can dot he same with photos, notes, whatever you choose or not. And then there is instagram....

    1. We have one on the roof of the Menlyn park shopping centre - it is well run, clean and tidy bathrooms. A real family orientated place.

  7. Ooh, I love jasmin! I always know it's spring when the wisteria at Nicola's school blooms. That poor plant looks good for exactly one week a year. The week that falls over the 1st of September.
