Makes my Monday - our 2 year celebration.

Playing along with Cheryl - what a great way to start the week. We just had a 4 day long weekend, so that's been great (even better with my MIL visiting). And off course some little guys turned 2!

With all that's been going on, this mommy was so tired that we did not plan a big party with friends. We decided that along with Lucy and the grannies we would spend the morning at the zoo as we have such a great zoo, and then go out to an early dinner when dad gets home. Alas, with picnic basket packed and all organised, we woke up to a rainy and cloudy Friday morning. So we had a change of plans. We spend the day at home.

Blowing out our candles with daddy before he goes to work. Cupcakes at 6:30 in the morning was great!

Reading our new Barney books with Granny Annie ( in our Scooby doo birthday T's) and waiting for Grammy to arrive.

Party plates for kiddos (the adults got the same!) - a cupcake, meringue animal and animal cookie. All supplied by my favorite home industry shop.
Happy Birthday Little Man C!

Happy Birthday Little Man L!

And Happy Birthday for Rebekkah, our cleaning and ironing lady that comes in 3 times a week.

Picnic in the lounge was great fun

Kinder egg hands!

Hugs for Grammy.

Playing with our new Y-bikes.

And these are a hit.

Ring a round a rosies.

Blowing away.

Loving his sister's bike helmet.

Pondering over being so old today.

Daddy came home a bit earlier, so off the the Spur we went - our only really child friendly steakhouse in South Africa. I did not think it would be a great treat for The Boys - last time we were there (about 3 months ago) they were not happy campers. But boy, was I wrong. They loved it! And all the attention twins get, even more so on their birthday.

Me and Princess Tiger Lilly (from Peter Pan).

Little boy Indian boy.

And he had his eyes glued to the TV watching "rugbies" - rugby. My, already a fan!

Beautiful butterfly....

got a butterfly balloon.

And our little Lion off course got a Lion

He asked for a "Dino" and the balloon artist came up with this huge T-rex.

They loved it when the staff came to sing for them with sparkles on the "Chico the clown" ice-creams.

Our little family.

Too bad the elephant did not have a big "A" on him...we are huge University of Alabama fans (their mascot is an elephant)!! The balloon animals were great and the Little Miss makes a Beautiful Butterfly...her face paint was excellent! Happy Two Years C&L!!!
