Showing your real feelings

Little man L is doing well with his glasses - takes a bit of time in the mornings to be comfy and then happily wears it , but by 6:00 in the evenings he's had it - he wants it of!

Show mommy the kitty cat!

And in general our downstairs toilet looks like this - safely closed.

But this is what I found yesterday evening - he's had it!

  1. Oh my gosh that is so funny to me anyways, I am not the one dishing out money for those glasses :) He looks adorable in them btw.

I found you through one of the HDYDI mom's blogs. Hi! I have fraternal twin boys that are 22 months old.

  3. Poor kid! What would he do without them but then again such a pain for such a little tot. Good thing he didn't flush them too. Looks like a very nice hiding spot if only in theory anyway.

  4. That looks like a pretty clear message Mom!
And isn't it just like a good blogger to take a picture of the glasses in the toilet before fishing them out!

  5. ha! andrew might need glasses and we were thinking no 2 year old kid will keep glasses on all day. I guess I'll need to invest in a lock for our toliet too! when did your boy get so big?

  6. Oh that's funny! My son would actually hide them. When that didn't work, he would try breaking them.

It's an up hill battle. They glasses are really cute on him. Good luck.

  7. LOL Cat! Too funny! I feel that way about my contacts by the end of the day...some days I can't wait to get the kids into bed and pry them out of my tired eyes!

  11. That is SOOO funny! You know, one of my biggest fears is that the kids (not just the baby, any of them) are going to throw a large item down the toilet. I remember hearing horrible "plumbing" stories from friends about their kids.

You have to admit, it's a pretty clever spot to hide his specs!!!! He looks so cute in them, I am sure he will adjust!!! :)

  15. Oh look at that. I didn't miss this one. It's like the movies I think I haven't seen until I get to the end and think, oh yes, I think I have seen this one. Please forgive my short term memory.
